Blink GFE introduced at Hellenic Film Academy Awards

Athens, Greece – June 26, 2024 – Film editor Nikos Vavouris announced the official launch of Blink GFE (Greek Film Editors) during the Hellenic Film Academy Awards ceremony.

In a speech delivered while accepting his award for Best Editing for the film “Animal”, Nikos highlighted the essential role of film editors in the cinematic arts and unveiled Blink GFE, a dedicated union for film editors and colorists in Greece. This initiative aims to unite and empower Greek film editors, providing a platform for advocacy, professional development, and industry collaboration. Blink GFE is already a member of Tempo, the federation that connects associations of film editors from all over the world .

Blink GFE aspires to:
