Laurent Sénéchal wins EFA best editing award

French film editor Laurent Sénéchal has won the Best Editing Award for his work on Anatomy of a Fall at the 2023 European Film Awards in Berlin. The film also won best Film, Director, Actress and Screenwriter and basically wiped away most of the important competition.
TEMPO and all its members want to congratulate LMA member Laurent for his work and this impressive result on Anatomy of a Fall.
The jury: “As this psychological drama slowly unfolds, Laurent Sénéchal’s editing is a main part of the story’s architecture. What is withheld and what is revealed at what time keeps surprising the viewer, adds to our impression of the characters and gives the story its pace. New bits of information keep changing what we thought we knew.”
