The French Editing Festival in March

The French Editing Festival in March

March 13, 2024 | Cinéma Luminor Hôtel de Ville

The French editing festival will be in Paris, in March, from the 13th to the 18th.

  • 8 films followed by a discussion with the editors, in the presence of the directors;
  • A special evening dedicated to short films;
  • A carte blanche to the members of the Turkish editors association KUDA who will present Translating Ulysses (69’) by Aylin Kuryel and Firat Yücel (preceded by a short film), and discuss their working conditions in their country;
  • A roundtable discussion on archival work in editing;
  • Two meetings to discover the profession: an exchange with professionals on “How to become an editor” and a school session (in collaboration with High School Students and Apprentices in Cinema in Ile-de-France for the Paris academy);
  • And a preview to conclude the festival!

Unfortunately, none of the films in the program are English subtitled.

The entire program is open to everyone (amateurs, film enthusiasts, professionals, and the curious), except for the school session.
